Tropical Vibrance
Very few pictures in my collection were taken spontaneously and without any planning. Tropical Vibrance is one of them. I was in the process of working on several concepts for the area, this particular occasion on the palm trees that line the northern end of this beach. I arrived at the beach early. While I was getting ready for the sunrise I was overwhelmed by the color and the cloud formations. Needless to say, I left the palm trees and shot this scene. There were, however, a lot of mosquitoes. I literally shot only three frames before being totally swarmed by them. They even chased me back to the car! From that day, insect repellent became an essential item in my kit.
